Tracking some dry time today, more rain this weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly cloudy but also mostly dry as highs reach the upper 70s. A spot shower is still possible today.

TONIGHT: Clouds fill in overnight, and conditions remain dry through the early morning on Friday. Lows in the 60s.

EXTENDED: Showers and thunderstorms roll in early Friday with stronger storms remaining south of the area. Saturday, we are monitoring another chance at storms, as another complex of storms rolls in from the west. This round may have better access to instability, lending to a low chance of severe storms on Saturday. More rain is possible along a cold front on Sunday, and that will likely usher in drier weather for early next week once it pushes out.
