Tracking a sunnier and mild Sunday

TODAY: Temperatures will be chilly in the morning in the 40s, but sunshine pushes highs to the mid-60s in the afternoon. Winds from the north add some chill at times with wind gusts up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: Conditions repeat on Monday with a cool start giving way to a warmer afternoon in the upper 60s to 70 degrees.

EXTENDED: Tuesday warms back into the 70s as winds switch out of the south, but clouds begin rolling in late in the day as rain chances move into southern Missouri. The best rain chances will dwell south of the area midweek, but scattered rain is likely from Wednesday through Friday, with good dry time in between. Rain amounts remain below an inch through the week, and next weekend looks drier and seasonal in the 70s.
