TODAY: Mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-70s. Spotty showers and storms are possible in eastern Missouri, but most stay dry.

TOMORROW: An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day has been issued for Sunday morning for the potential of strong to severe storms. A line of storms rolls through in the early morning hours, carrying a damaging wind and hail threat, and an isolated tornado is also possible. More severe storms are possible in the afternoon east of our area, including St. Louis and the bootheel.

EXTENDED: Temperatures cool to the 50s on Monday but a sharp rebound is expected midweek ahead of more storm chances. Strong storms may again be possible around Wednesday next week, with more rain following.
