Tracking clouds and increasing temperatures ahead of rain

0:00/ 0:00LIVEQuality1  AudioSubtitleSpeedNormal

THIS AFTERNOON: Cloudy and dry with cold temperatures in the upper 30s. Breezy southeasterly winds could gust up to 30 mph, keeping the wind chill below freezing all day.

TONIGHT: Moisture increases overnight with very light rain possible. Temperatures remain above freezing.

EXTENDED: Rain remains light through early Saturday, but will likely switch to snow in the evening as temperatures drop. Most areas will see less than an inch of snowfall, but if a band develops in eastern Missouri it may add another inch or two. A better chance for snow will come on Tuesday, after a big cooldown Sunday through most of next week.
