Tracking a dreary Friday, clearing this weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: Cloudy and wet with scattered light rain and drizzle. Temperatures will be steady in the 40s.

TONIGHT: Most clouds clear out overnight as northwest winds drop temperatures to near freezing by Saturday morning.

EXTENDED: South winds return tomorrow and warm temperatures to the 50s on Saturday afternoon under partly cloudy skies. More sunshine on Sunday should put us back into the 60s. Past Monday, the forecast becomes much more uncertain as a front stalls overhead, impacting temperatures and bringing rain by midweek. Monday will likely still be warmer in the 50s and rain chances won't pick up until late Tuesday or Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to be colder on the other side of this system once conditions clear out later next week.
