Tracking sunshine into the weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunny and mild with highs up to 60 degrees.

TONIGHT: Clear with chilly lows in the upper 30s. Clouds return after midnight.

EXTENDED: Temperatures inch further into the low 60s tomorrow with partly sunny skies. Cloud cover steadily increases into Sunday with a spot shower possible. Widespread showers and storms are expected on Monday bringing over an inch of rain to many spots. This system will exit quickly by Tuesday and an intense cooldown follows as highs tumble to the 40s late next week.
