Tracking more seasonal temperatures behind a cold front

THIS MORNING: A weak cold front passing through early morning will settle just southeast of Mid-MO, possibly pushing out a stray shower or two. Morning temperatures are mild in the 50s.

TODAY: We remain mostly dry as showers stay south of the front, and highs still reach around 70 degrees despite a cooler northerly breeze.

EXTENDED: Midweek is more seasonal as cool air settles in and puts highs back in the 60s. Rain surges northward late Wednesday into Thursday but how many of us see rain is still a question. The best chance for meaningful rain amounts will be to our south and east, while parts of Mid-MO could pick up a few tenths of an inch of rain. Conditions dry out into the weekend with temperatures soaring to the 80s by Saturday.
