Tracking a great weekend despite overnight rain

TODAY: Skies remain mostly clear and highs climb further into the mid-60s. Winds could be gusty up to 35 mph ahead of a front this evening. A line of showers and storms tracks in from west to east overnight with under an inch of rain expected.

TOMORROW: Sunday may start with light showers to the east but most will already be dry by sunrise. Temperatures reach the lower 70s with clouds filtering out.

EXTENDED: We'll stay dry on Monday for the eclipse but some clouds may work in ahead of our next system. Otherwise, it's a warm day with highs in the 70s. Rain chances return Tuesday through Thursday with a system that tracks by to our south. Rain totals for the week could exceed 2 inches in southern Missouri.
