Tracking a freezing start to the weekend

TODAY: Early morning wind chills drop as low as the single digits due to steady northerly winds. Sunshine will try to help out but temperatures only reach the mid-30s at best this afternoon.

TOMORROW: Conditions begin to recover Sunday as winds switch out of the southwest. Highs approach 50 degrees with more sunshine.

EXTENDED: The first half of next week remains dry and offers plenty of sunshine with temperatures working towards the mid-60s by Wednesday. Next Thursday and Friday see the return of chances for showers.
