Tracking a cooler and cloudy weekend

TODAY: Temperatures are dramatically cooler but still above average in the upper 40s. Partial sunshine is likely today but clouds will also stick around for most.

TOMORROW: Sunday will be mostly the same in the 40s with clouds filling in by the evening. A system early next week has now slowed enough to push precipitation chances in to early Monday.

EXTENDED: The Monday morning commute could see accumulating snow in southern Missouri near I-44. This system track is still uncertain, with the possibility ranging from no snow to accumulation on roadways in the early morning. Temperatures will only dip to around freezing though, not too much colder. This means the window for snowfall is slim, and the amount of time we're below freezing will factor into snow totals. Overall stay up to date this weekend as the forecast comes into better focus.
