Tracking a sunny and breezy end to the week

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunshine returns in full swing today with temperatures again in the upper 60s. Winds will be a little lower than yesterday but still noticeable gusting up to 20 mph.

TONIGHT: A cold front will track in late this evening with isolated showers well after sundown. A few rumbles of thunder are possible due to the heat.

EXTENDED: We're back to more typical February temps behind the front this weekend with highs in the 40s. A stronger system will mostly track south of us on Sunday but will drop rain and wet snow in the vicinity. The highest chance for accumulating snow is currently right along the I-44 corridor though there could still be changes in this track. Travel impacts are possible across southern Missouri so stay up to date with the forecast.
