Tracking a foggy start to a sunnier workweek

THIS MORNING: Dense fog is possible through midmorning but will quickly be cleared away by sunshine today. Early morning temperatures around freezing could lead to slick spots on bridges but this is a very minor concern.

TODAY: A combination of clear skies and warm southerly winds will push temperatures over ten degrees warmer than yesterday into the 50s for most of the area.

EXTENDED: Clouds return late Monday night as a front works through, bringing a cooldown into the lower to mid-40s for highs on Tuesday. We bounce back into the mid-50s on Wednesday as upper high pressure builds over the region, keeping us warmer than average through Thursday. Another front moves in for the end of the week, dropping temperatures back to near freezing by Friday night and cooling us into the low 40s for the weekend. Measurable rain chances this week are looking limited.
