Tracking several rounds of rain early this week

THIS EVENING: Winter impacts are over for Mid-MO but rain still continues into tonight. Rain spreads areawide after sundown and could be heavy at times overnight, but no freezing is expected. Temperatures remain just above the freezing mark in the mid-30s.

TOMORROW: Rain clears out by the morning commute while much of Tuesday looks drier. Temperatures make it back to the 40s. Another round of rain moves in from south to north after sundown and continues into early Wednesday.

EXTENDED: More rainfall is expected late week but our busy pattern ahead muddles the long-term forecast. More waves of rain will track through Mid-MO sometime around Thursday and again early Saturday. Temperatures are favored to remain above freezing with highs in the 40s keeping chances for wintry precip very low.
