Tracking a slushy commute after another round of snow

THIS MORNING: Snow tapers off early morning and slushy spots will be possible during the commute. These impacts will be limited as temperatures get back above freezing.

TODAY: Despite recent snow temperatures don't change much. Most of Mid-MO struggles to reach the 40-degree mark this afternoon.

EXTENDED: This weekend is quiet with sunshine and near seasonal temperatures in the low 40s and upper 30s. New Year's Eve night will be chilly as lows dip down into the lower 20s. New Year's Day looks cold with sun and highs in the mid-30s. The rest of the week looks quiet and seasonably cool with high temperatures in the lower 40s.
