Tracking a dreary end to the weekend and sunshine on the way
TONIGHT: I'm tracking an overcast sky sticking around along with light drizzle and shower chances in the overnight hours. Temperatures drop into the mid 40s by the end of the night.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking another mostly cloudy day with lower chances for light drizzle/sprinkles (10-20%). Since there will be stubborn cloud cover and gusty winds from the NNW (10-15 mph G 20), temperatures only climb into the low to mid 50s.
EXTENDED: By late Monday morning, I'm tracking a general clearing across Missouri and winds starting to calm in the afternoon hours. Sunshine will help warm us into the low 60s on Monday, and Tuesday I'll be tracking temperatures in the mid 60s once again with the help of sun. The majority of Wednesday is trending dry and mostly sunny, which is why it will be the warmest day of the week in the low 70s. Wednesday night, clouds will increase as a cold front pushes through the Midwest, and rain chances will pick up. The majority of rainfall is focused on Thursday (20-30%) but it is not expected to be heavy or bring relief to drought conditions in Missouri.
