Tracking a warmer afternoon ahead of overnight storms

This Afternoon: Thursday is another warm day with sunshine and highs in the low 80s. Winds will be breezy from the south, gusting in the 20-30 mph range.

Tonight: Conditions remain clear through the early overnight. It's not until about 3 a.m. that we start to see showers and storms develop and spread east into the early hours Friday morning. Storms will largely remain below severe thresholds but some isolated strong to damaging winds are possible.

Extended: Rain marks the end of recent warmth with highs back in the 70s on Friday. Clouds stick around Saturday, with highs in the 50s. We will be cool and dry this weekend, and we warm into the 60s early next week.
