Tracking a couple more days of summer heat
TONIGHT: I'm tracking clear sky conditions and a calm night. Light winds from the ESE are expected, and temperatures will drop into the low 60s by tomorrow morning.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking another similar setup to today, with temperatures getting into the high 80s and sunny sky conditions expected.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking one last day of summer-like conditions Tuesday, with temperatures once again reaching into the high 80s. Clouds will gradually build through the day, and Wednesday will mark the start of a strong cooldown. Showers and thunderstorms will move in from the west over the course of Wednesday, but the main rain chances lie in the evening and overnight hours into Tuesday morning. At the very least, cloud cover will limit Wednesday's temperatures to the high 70s. These shower and thunderstorm chances come along with a cold front that will aid in dropping our temperatures into more fall-like conditions. By Friday, high temperatures will top out in the low 70s. With the help of a secondary cold front Friday night into Saturday our temperatures will move down into the mid-60s for Saturday afternoon.
