Tracking summer heat through the weekend

Today: Our warmup peaks Saturday with highs in the lower 90s along with noticeable humidity. Winds remain out of the south at 8-12 mph.

Tomorrow: Highs will already begin falling by Sunday, but we're still set to be well above average in the upper 80s. This cooldown is mostly brought in by easterly winds between 8-12 mph.

Extended: High pressure slowly departs to our east early this week, dropping highs a few more degrees through Tuesday. A cold front moves in midweek, with rain chances from Wednesday to early Thursday. With only a limited chance for storms or efficient rainfall, totals are mostly below an inch areawide. This front will manage to bring fall back quickly though with highs in the 70s late week.
