Tracking more sunshine tomorrow, patchy frost by night

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a spot shower possible south of Highway 50. Lows in the upper 30s to around 40.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy and breezy with northwest winds up to 20 mph. Highs in the upper 50s to around 60.

EXTENDED: Winds diminish tomorrow night and with clearer skies, and most of the area from Jefferson City north will see frost. No advisories have been issued yet, but the National Weather Service advises that could be coming if more of the area clears out tomorrow. Lows fall into the low to mid-30s tomorrow night. Thursday is nice with a high near 60, but with a more organized low pressure system moving in from the west we'll try to overcome some of the dry air on Friday to bring showers to the area. Rainfall could continue into early Saturday with amounts between 0.25" and 0.5". Temperatures Saturday and Sunday will make it to the upper 50s with more sun expected on Sunday. Next week looks cooler than average with the potential of frost at night once again. Avoid planting for the next week if you can! Tree pollen levels will also be higher the next couple days and begin to ease a bit by Thursday or Friday.
