Tracking a few snow showers tonight, more clouds Tuesday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a chance for a few lingering snow showers north of I-70 into this evening. Lows in the upper 20s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy and chilly with highs in the upper 30s and a cool westerly breeze up to 20 mph.

EXTENDED: Clouds clear Tuesday night and winds shift back southwest into Wednesday. Gusty winds bring temperatures back into the upper 40s to low 50s Wednesday and Thursday with plenty of sunshine. Thursday night into Friday, another cold front moves through, bringing clouds on Thursday night and cooler temperatures back into the 30s during the day. Over the weekend, a strong low pressure system gains strength to our southwest, sending moisture in our direction by late Saturday night. We could see a rain/snow mix at the onset depending on temperature, then periods of rain or snow on Sunday into Monday. Temperatures on Sunday and Monday will start in the 30s in the morning and make it to the low 40s by afternoon.
