Summer-like weather for the weekend ahead

TONIGHT: A few clouds are expected into this evening with warm & slightly muggy weather holding on. Expect temperatures in the upper 70s through sunset. We'll drop to near 60 by tomorrow morning.

THIS WEEKEND: Looks like a great weekend for football and being outside! Enjoy the summer-like weather with low to mid 80s Saturday and Sunday with passing clouds. No rain is expected.

EXTENDED: A cold front will approach Sunday night into Monday morning, leading to gusty winds Monday afternoon. A few spot showers or a storm is possible Monday morning, but nothing looks very threatening at this point. The most it will do is bump down temperatures close to average through the middle of the week.

A stronger cold front could potentially bring some of our coldest air of the season by next weekend. A heavy frost/freeze could be possible. Still time to sort through that long-term data... we will keep a close eye on that.
