Chilly air overnight, flurries possible in western mid-MO

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunshine will continue throughout the afternoon hours, but clouds will generally take over later this evening. Temperatures will remain on the chilly side-- in the upper 30s and low 40s.

TONIGHT: Clouds will remain thick tonight, with a few flurries possible in SW mid-Missouri overnight. Lows fall into the low to mid 20s.

EXTENDED: The streak continues Thursday with quiet weather but it will be the coolest day of the week with highs near freezing. Lows look to fall into the upper teens Thursday night before rebounding on Friday. High pressure will slide off to our east sending winds out of the south—that will help boost highs on Friday into the low 40s. The warming trend continues into Saturday before rain chances move in after midnight. Sunday looks to feature rain for much of the day, and could see some moderate amounts before tapering off Monday afternoon.
