Fog possible tonight, quiet weather ahead

THIS AFTERNOON: Northwest winds will keep us on the cool side today. Expect temperatures to hover in the 40s.

TONIGHT: Skies will be clear, along with light winds. There's still quite a bit of leftover soil moisture from Monday's snow pack, fog is possible especially along and north of I-70 in the morning. With temperatures well below freezing, freezing fog is possible on elevate surfaces out the door in the morning. Give yourself extra time for potential slick areas, as well as a chance to scrape off your car.

EXTENDED: Quiet weather sticks around the next few days. Temperatures will start to warm back up to where they should be for this time of the year on Friday, back in the middle 40s and upper 40s to near 50 this weekend. We'll be tracking a system moving through Saturday night into Sunday that could bring some sprinkles or light rain but looks to be pretty meager. But it doesn't look to deliver any cold air, with temperatures in the 50s to start out next week.
