The undefeated season comes to an end for the Blair Oaks football team in the class three state quarterfinals. The Falcons lost to Cassville, 35-28. Marceline advanced past South Callaway in the class one state quarterfinals, 20-7. Hallsville's season also came to an end after a 22-7 loss to Clark County in class two state quarterfinals.
The (2) Columbia College men's soccer team stayed undefeated with a 2-0 victory over Embry-Riddle in the NAIA Tournament. The Columbia college women's soccer team, however, lost to (5) Martin Methodist to end its season.
(1) Central Methodist men's soccer defeated Martin Methodist, 4-0, to advance in the NAIA Tournament. The (4) Central Methodist women's soccer team also is moving on after a 5-1 victory over Aquinas.
In the court, the (12) Central Methodist women's basketball team defeated Graceland, 111-58. Meanwhile, (20) Central Methodist men's basketball lost to Graceland, 77-59. (9) Columbia College women's basketball beat Hannibal-Lagrange, 85-48. The Columbia College men's basketball team beat Hannibal-Lagrange, 69-65.
