EXTENDED: More dry and mild weather is expected Wednesday and Thursday as we remain under the influence of the northeastern high pressure. As it slips to the east, we'll gradually return to southerly flow on Wednesday and Thursday. This will return greater moisture slowly, leading to rain chances on Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast each day through the weekend and into Monday. Rain is likely both Saturday and Sunday, but to what extent remains a big question.
