Tracking a quiet week with spotty rain chances

TODAY: Wednesday is dry, with partly cloudy skies. Starting in the 40s, highs are likely capped in the mid-60s amid north winds around 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Temperatures fall into the upper 50s by sunset, and with clearing skies and calm winds, temperatures fall into the low 40s at sunrise.

EXTENDED: Spotty showers are possible on Thursday, and there may even be an element of thunder with very low levels of storm energy in the forecast. No severe weather is forecast. Unlike Tuesday's near miss for many, our ingredient list is much more innocuous. Dry and cool weather is expected the rest of the week into Saturday. Temperatures range from the 40s to 60s each day, before a return to 70s and rain chances early next week.
