TODAY: Tuesday starts dry, with some low clouds through the first half of the day. Showers and weak thunderstorms return this afternoon. An isolated strong storm is possible in Phelps and Pulaski counties, or south. Another half inch of rain is possible south of I-70. Temperatures only reach mid-60s this afternoon, keeping us a bit cooler today.

TONIGHT: Some showers linger into the overnight, but we're dry by Wednesday morning, with lows in the 40s.

EXTENDED: Dry weather and highs in the 60s are expected daily through Saturday, before our next chance for a few showers early next week. Temperatures may reach the low 70s next week. Morning lows are forecast in the low 40s the rest of the week.
