Tracking storms tonight, and more mild air later this week

TODAY: Tuesday is an ABC17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day as we expect strong storms this evening. For the latest, read our ABC17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day Blog. South winds will warm us from an already warm morning, into the 80s this afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Storms may not develop until the dinner hour.

TONGIGHT: Storms are most likely after 6 p.m. Initially isolated, storms will become more scattered into the overnight hours. All severe threats are possible, including flooding.

EXTENDED: Rain continues overnight, leaving us with showers and a few rumbles early Wednesday morning. Wednesday starts warm, in the 60s, but with north winds and showers, we cool into the 40s by the afternoon. We are likely dry by the evening. Thursday is warmer, with a return to the upper 50s under mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. We'll warm into the 60s and 70s Friday and Saturday, before a cold front brings showers and flurries Sunday. Temperatures start in the 50s Sunday, but we'll likely cool into the 40s by the afternoon, and into the 20s by Monday morning. We start next week chilly, before warming again.
