Tracking a cold end to the weekend

TONIGHT: Saturday night will be cold once again, as northwest winds continue at 5-10 mph overnight. Temperatures fall into the 20s quickly after sunset, and reach the teens by sunrise on Sunday.

TOMORROW: Sunday is an even cooler day, if just by a few degrees. North winds will reach 10-20 mph at times, and keep us in the low 30s despite mostly sunny skies.

EXTENDED: The core of high pressure, which is approaching through Sunday, reaches the region Monday. This gives us calmer winds, but keeps us cold. Lows in the low teens are expected Monday morning, with highs again only reaching near freezing. South winds on the other side of the high pressure will help bring warmer temperatures through the middle to the second half of next week. Highs are forecast in the 50s and 60s Tuesday through Friday. There are low chances of rain on Thursday.
