Tracking one warm day ahead of a cold end of week

TODAY: Tuesday is warm, above average temperatures through the day. We expect highs in the low-to-mid 50s by the afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Winds are from the south west around 10-15 mph and will gust up to 25 mph.

TONIGHT: A cold front moves in tonight, bringing a chance for showers north to south. This starts around 9 p.m. and ends by 7 a.m.

EXTENDED: North winds fill the region with blustery and cool conditions on Wednesday. Winds gusting to 30+ mph will keep highs in the 40s but make us feel like 30s and lower. The high temperature on Wednesday will likely come in the morning, before we cool throughout the day. The cold trend continues with highs in the 30s Friday, and 20s over the weekend.
