TODAY: Tuesday will be breezy and warm before becoming breezy and cool. In the wake of storms yesterday into the early hours of this morning for some. Rain will wrap up shortly after sunrise in Montgomery and Gasconade counties. The rest of the morning will be cloudy but dry for most, with an increase in sunshine by the afternoon. Winds will be from the south at a pace of 5-10 mph through the morning, but around midday, a wind shift from the northwest will sweep the region. Temperatures will climb quickly into the 60s before falling into the 50s late this afternoon.
TONIGHT: Clouds return to our skies this evening, keeping us mild despite northerly winds.
EXTENDED: Wednesday starts in the 40s, but thanks to continued north winds and persistent clouds, we'll likely remain in the 50s at the warmest. Greater rain chances and warmer temperatures arrive Thursday as a warm front lifts into the region. Highs remain in the 60s as showers and clouds remain in the picture. Our best rain will come Thursday night into Friday. Highs are expected in the 50s Friday with showers and a switch to cooler air behind this system. Sunshine returns for the weekend, keeping us steadily in the 50s to low 60s. Depending on location, 0.5 to 2 inches of rain is possible with this next round of rainfall.
