Tracking mild air and few clouds this week
TODAY: Monday is warmer than Sunday. We'll expect low 60s despite a weak cold front sliding through the region. Skies are sunny, helping to keep us mild.
TONIGHT: Overnight, skies turn partly cloudy, and winds shift from the south. Temperatures fall to the 50s this evening, and into the 40s by sunrise.
EXTENDED: Starting mild, increasing south flow on Tuesday will be able to warm the day back to the low 70s under mostly sunny skies. This will be the warmest afternoon in the forecast, but a similarly warm day should hang on for Wednesday despite another weak cold front midday. Temperatures are forecast in the upper 60s both Wednesday and Thursday. Dry weather is expected until Thursday night, when a low chance for rain comes along a cold front. If rain materializes, it could impact the Friday morning as well. However, the rain chance is low due to continued uncertainty in available moisture available to the cold front. Highs remain forecast int he 60s through Saturday, but another wave looks to bring a deeper cooldown, into the 50s, by Sunday afternoon.
