Tracking chilly mornings into November

TODAY: Thursday starts about 10-15° cooler than Monday-Wednesday did. We'll start in the upper 30s with a light northwest breeze. Wind Chills are more likely to be in the low 30s, take a coat if you're spending much time outside. Despite the cooler start, we'll be a hair warmer this afternoon - in the middle 50s. Clouds are gone, and more sunshine is expected today.

TONIGHT: Skies remain mostly clear overnight. Temperatures fall quickly again, into the mid-30s by sunrise Friday. With calmer morning winds, early morning frost will be possible.

EXTENDED: Friday is partly cloudy and nearing 60° by the afternoon, as clouds return ahead of a cold front Friday night into Saturday. Halloween night is cool and dry, likely falling from low 50s to 40s through the evening. Saturday starts with a few clouds, but sunshine returns in the afternoon. This may limit frost Saturday morning, but it depends on how fast the associated cooldown is. Either way, Saturday likely only brings low 50s by the afternoon. The cooldown takes us into the low 30s (light freeze territory) by Sunday morning. Sunshine returns to put us in the mid-50s Sunday afternoon. A slight warmup into the 60s is expected next week.
