Tracking more clouds and rain chances ahead of a cool Halloween
TODAY: Monday is overcast, gloomy, and gray. Temperatures will reflect the dreary weather; staying cool -in the 50s for highs. Winds are light and from the east. Some drizzle and sprinkles will be present early, but we'll trend drier through the morning, leaving us without rain chances by the afternoon.
TONIGHT: Clouds and low level moisture keep us steadily in the 50s overnight. Some may drop to upper 40s, but little overall temperature change is expected through Tuesday.
EXTENDED: Tuesday starts near 50, and temperatures are expected to stay in the mid-50s through the afternoon as clouds remain constant. Shower chances return by the afternoon, which help to keep things cool alongside a northerly breeze. Rain chances build Tuesday evening as a low deepens to our west. This will bring more scattered rain Tuesday night through Wednesday, along with another dose of cooler air from the north. Rain totals are likely to reach half an inch for most of the region, with some chance for up to an inch of rain. Temperatures don't change much on Wednesday, with lows in the 40s and highs near 50, but as the low moves away, Lows are forecast in the 30s Thursday into the weekend, with afternoon highs generally in the 50s. This means more frost is possible Thursday and Friday morning. Currently, Halloween looks dry and chilly, with evening temperatures possibly in the 40s.
