Tracking a warm Sunday and shower chances tonight into Monday morning
TODAY: Sunday is a bright day, after some patchy fog this morning. We'll have a few clouds around through the day, but we'll overall be mostly sunny. A south breeze around 5-15 mph through the day will warm us to near 80 degrees.
TONIGHT: Skies will become increasingly cloudy in the west from 3-6 p.m. By 7-9 p.m. some spot showers will be possible in the west near HWY 65. Showers will move across the region overnight. Some showers linger early Monday morning.
EXTENDED: On Monday morning, you may want an umbrella with spotty showers possible through noon. Highs in the upper 70s are likely despite a mostly cloudy day and morning showers along a cold front. Winds may remain from the southwest through the day, keeping us warm. Overnight into Tuesday, the front stalls across the region, keeping clouds around and winds variable. This means similar temperatures are forecast for Tuesday, but we don't expect rain. Some more sunshine is possible Wednesday and Thursday with highs still in the upper 70s each day. More rain chances appear next weekend, and may be followed by a nice cooldown.
