Tracking clouds and cool air ahead of a sunny and crisp weekend
TODAY: Thursday is cooler, behind a cold front that moved through on Wednesday. Showers will be sparse this morning, oriented mainly south of I-70. Rain will let up through the morning, leaving skies mostly cloudy through the day, if not overcast the majority of the day. This and a north breeze will keep temperatures in the 70s. Dew points will be high, in the 70s, during the morning before falling into the 60s during the afternoon.
TONIGHT: Overnight, dew points continue to fall alongside temperatures. Skies will clear overnight. We'll start Friday crisp and clear with temperatures near 60 and dew points in the 50s.
EXTENDED: The best way to describe expectations for Friday is to use the word "crisp", as dew points stay in the 50s, with sunny skies. This will have upper 70s feeling incredibly comfortable through the afternoon. It may even feel a bit chilly at the pool compared to days past. This sunshine, mild air, and low humidity continues Saturday and Sunday, as we only see 80s return for some by late Sunday. More of us see 80s by Monday. This also comes with slightly higher humidity and spotty storm chances Monday through Wednesday, but no where near the humidity we had this last week.
