Tracking a hot Thursday with isolated rain chances Thursday night and Friday

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the mid-70s with mostly clear skies.

TOMORROW: Thursday is another ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day as the heat index will surge up to 105 degrees. Skies remain partly cloudy with afternoon isolated chances of showers and storms. Moderate downpours and lightning will be the main threats.

EXTENDED: Friday morning welcomes isolated rain chances once again. The greatest chances for rain remains north of I-70. Afternoon hours remain partly cloudy with highs just over 90 degrees. The heat index could climb up to 101 degrees. Saturday welcomes mostly sunny skies lasting until next Wednesday. Another ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day has been issued from Sunday afternoon until Tuesday afternoon as the heat index could climb up to nearly 108 each afternoon.
