Tracking weekend storm chances with a slight cool down

TONIGHT: Showers and storms remain spotty throughout the evening and overnight hours. Moderate brief downpours and lightning remain the primary threats. Lows cool to the lower 70s.

TOMORROW: Saturday welcomes more spotty chances of showers and storms with highs into the upper 80s. There will still be plenty of sunshine in between storms chances so a wash-out is not expected.

EXTENDED: Sunday welcomes increased chances of showers and storms lasting through Monday. Highs rise into the upper 80s Sunday before slightly cooling into the mid-80s Monday. Skies then clear into the rest of the week with an incoming high pressure system. Highs climb into the upper 80s by the second half of the week.
