Tracking increasing temperatures with increasing storm chances heading into Friday

TODAY: Today is largely dry with increasing high clouds through the day. We'll have a south wind around 5-10 mph pushing highs into the upper 80s. An isolated afternoon storm is possible near HWY 65 in the west.

TONIGHT: Skies will remain cloudy, and with south winds, temperatures linger in the mid-60s overnight.

EXTENDED: Clouds are thicker and consistent on Thursday. This will bring a chance for spotty showers and storms, but otherwise a mostly dry day with a high near 85. Better rain coverage keeps highs in the 70s & 80s on Friday, with scattered showers and storms. Rain chances are best on Friday, but some morning showers and isolated afternoon storms may repeat on Saturday. Lesser coverage on Saturday and a mostly dry Sunday will likely allow temperatures to return to the 80s, but being on the north side of Friday's wave likely keeps us out of the 90s. More rain chances linger into early next week, but we expect these to be meager with plenty of dry time.
