Tracking a warm and mostly dry rest of the week
TODAY: Tuesday is starting foggy for some. This will clear and leave us partly cloudy with a high near 80. Winds will be light and generally easterly.
TONIGHT: We'll stay mild overnight, with temperatures in the 60s under mostly clear skies.
EXTENDED: Southeasterly winds pick up on Wednesday, leaving us warm and breezy. Highs reach mid-80s under partly cloudy skies. We'll be a hair warmer on Thursday, with highs nudging near 90. We may fall just short of that number as a cold front will interrupt our warm up. Not much of a cool down is forecast with this front, as a mild airmass comes behind it. We'll expect another warm day in the 80s on Friday. We'll stay dry with Thursday's front, but a chance for storms comes with another front on Friday. Depending on the timing of the front we could get storms to develop in mid-Missouri before they race east. This front will drop south of the region likely on Saturday, but it stays nearby. We'll have more rain chances from it over the end of the weekend and early next week. This keeps our forecast highs in the low 80s over the weekend into next week.
