COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Hurricane Milton continued its path through the Gulf of Mexico toward Florida on Wednesday.

The storm was a Category 4 on Wednesday morning but was expected to weaken as it comes ashore somewhere on Florida's west coast. Heavy wind and rain is already visible on live camera feeds from Florida.
