Tracking a beautiful Labor Day, gorgeous week ahead

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and comfortable with lows in the mid-upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and nice with highs in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: The week will get off to a great start on Monday as high pressure centered to our north keeps sunshine around for the first half of the week. Temperatures will be cooler than average with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 through Wednesday and lows in the mid-upper 80s. We could see a few more clouds on Thursday as a cold front approaches, bringing a chance for a few showers and rumbles of thunder between Thursday and Friday, but the better chance for more measurable rain will be across southeast Missouri. We'll be cooler behind that front with weekend temperatures in the lower 70s.
