Tracking another cooldown just in time for the weekend

TODAY: Thursday is another cold front day. We'll be a touch warmer and more humid this afternoon, with highs back in the 80s, with slightly higher humidity peaking just ahead of a cold front this evening. Clouds will increase as the front gets closer, and we'll have a chance for a few sprinkles west of HWY 63 by noon and into the afternoon.

TONIGHT: The front will clear, leaving skies slowly clearing into the overnight. Winds return from the north to drop temperatures and dewpoints into the 50s Friday morning.

EXTENDED: Friday will start crisp, and dewpoints will continue to fall through the day into the 40s, making for a very comfortable and dry day as highs settle in the 70s. Saturday is cool, with highs in the 70s, but with a few extra clouds. Temperatures are near 80 on Sunday, but we're still cool. Chances for showers return Sunday night, which will be a sign of a pattern shift that leads to better rain chances and a return to upper 80s next week. Daily rain chances are present Monday through Wednesday.
