Tracking a mostly dry and breezy day

TODAY: Thursday is partly cloudy, with sunshine peaking out through the morning and early afternoon, before clouds return late this afternoon into the evening. Clouds will not likely make us overcast this afternoon, but they may bring a sprinkle or two. These clouds roll in from the north, the same direction our winds will blow from. Winds sustained between 15 and 20 mph gusting to 30 mph at times will keep highs in the 60s today.

TONIGHT: Temperatures fall into the 40s overnight, with skies clearing and north winds persisting.

EXTENDED: Friday will be another mild day, in the 60s, with winds remaining from the northwest. Winds will begin to relax Friday night, and with clear skies, we'll see temperatures cool back into the low 40s. Some southerly flow may return overnight, but certainly by Saturday morning, leaving us notably warmer Saturday. Winds will be breezy, driving temperatures to near 80 Saturday afternoon. We'll stay sunny and breezy on Sunday, pushing highs closer to the mid-80s. Monday is just as warm, with mostly dry conditions, but storm chances will approach from the west that night. It's unclear how much impact these will have locally, but we'll keep a rain chance. Tuesday, showers and storms may persist depending on how Monday plays out. We'll have lingering rain chances into Wednesday of next week, but exact timing and placement is fairly uncertain.
