Tracking slim rain chances amid a very seasonable start to spring

TODAY: Tuesday is a warm, windy, and dry day. With winds from the southwest to west sustained between 10-20 mph, gusting to 30+ mph at times, we'll be warm. Temperatures will soar into the mid 60s after starting in the 20s. This also prompts an enhanced fire risk. Burning is strongly discouraged today.

TONIGHT: Winds will shift from the north tonight as a cold front sweeps through this evening. This is without precipitation, and at most we can expect an increase in clouds into Wednesday. Temperatures will be a bit warmer overnight, dropping only into the mid-30s.

EXTENDED: Wednesday will be partly cloudy, and about 10 degrees cooler than Tuesday. With highs in the 50s, we're very seasonable for the first full day of Spring (equinox is at 10:06 p.m. Tuesday). We'll be in the 50s again Thursday, where we have a slim chance for showers. Temperatures are slightly warmer on Friday, near 60, before another weak cold front that brings another slim chance for showers. Saturday is dry and in the 50s behind the front, but we start to warm again to near 60 for Sunday and Monday when we see much better chances for rain.
