Tracking afternoon rain
TODAY: Showers remain widespread throughout the afternoon and evening hours before exiting out the northeast after 9 pm. Temperatures remain into the lower 40s.
TONIGHT: Rain moves out after the dinner hour, leaving us wet at the surface, with more potential for fog overnight into Friday morning.ADVERTISING
EXTENDED: Temperatures stay above freezing again, through Friday morning. Friday we start in the upper 30s, and climb only into the mid-40s again as clouds stick around in the forecast to end the week. Saturday brings another chance at shower, and possibly a snow flake mixing in or two, however we do not expect accumulating snow. As rain exits Saturday night, we may get cool enough to see a few flakes. However, precipitation stops and we are just cool by Sunday morning, near freezing. This is very temporary, though, as we return to near 40 by the afternoon with more clouds. High pressure settles in Sunday night, leaving us in the 20s by Monday morning. Southerly flow and sunshine on the back side of the high will warm us by Monday afternoon. We may get close to 50 degrees both Monday and Tuesday, with high uncertainty in temperatures into the second half of next week. Even with the uncertainty, the possibility remains of temperatures in the 50s, to maybe even 60.
