Tracking multiple winter storm systems

TODAY: Afternoon highs only reach into the upper 30s with partly cloudy skies. Winds continue out of the east at 4-8 mph.

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the upper 20s as skies become mostly cloudy. Winds remain out of the east at 4-8 mph.

EXTENDED: Friday late afternoon welcomes scattered showers into the region that eventually looks to switch over to a wintry mix across Mid-Missouri. Thankfully moisture is limited with this event meaning roadways look to just see a light dampness as surface temperatures will be too warm. Some areas in Northwestern Missouri see the possibility of light accumulations on elevated surfaces and grass. The more important event to turn the attention to occurs next Monday and Tuesday as the likelihood of a more impactful event is increasing. This could pose issues to travel throughout this time period.
