Tracking abnormal warmth ahead of a seasonable end to the week

TONIGHT: We'll stay warm overnight, with a few high clouds and continued south winds. Temperatures fall into the upper 50s.
EXTENDED: Wednesday is another fast warm up with continued south winds and a sunny start. Temperatures will reach upper 70s before a cold front moves through in the afternoon. This will bring a sharp cooldown and a chance at a few sprinkles or light showers Wednesday evening. No meaningful precipitation is expected. We'll fall into the 40s Thursday morning, only to recover into the 50s that afternoon. We'll be dry and seasonable, with temperatures where they should be this time of year. Highs will reach the 50s each day through Sunday. The weekend looks dry and sunny as well. Hints of warmer air return next week, with 60s forecast.
