Tracking a dry and cool weekend ahead

Today: Afternoon highs rise into the upper 70s as winds remain out of the northwest at 8-12 mph. Skies remain partly cloudy ahead of a second passing cold front this afternoon.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the upper 40s as winds remain out of the northwest at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 18 mph possible.

Extended: Friday sees mostly sunny skies which looks to last throughout the upcoming weekend. Temperatures continue to cool significantly with highs on Friday and Saturday reaching into the mid to lower 60s. Next week sees drier conditions with temperatures eventually rising into the upper 70s.
