Tracking above average heat into weekend with plenty of sunshine

Today: Afternoon highs increase into the mid-80s with plenty of sunshine thanks to a high pressure system overhead. Winds remain out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool into the lower 60s as winds continue out of the southeast at 4-8 mph. Skies remain mostly clear allowing for a great viewing of the Harvest moon.

Extended: Highs warm up to 90 degrees both Friday and Saturday as skies remain mostly sunny thanks to a stalled high pressure system. Conditions remain dry until next Wednesday when a cold front moves in from the west.
